April 23-29

After leaving Gundagai we headed to Tumut and camped at Jones Bridge, 8 km from town.
The river flow increases and drops depending on how many hydro generators are running.

Endless supply of good clean water for washing was great.
Billy got to try out his new coat.

Jounami Dam wall.

After the Anzac Day march through Tumut we headed off on the Snowy Mountains Hwy to a camp we have used a couple of times. Yarrangobilly Village. Very cold and raining. Sue was hoping for snow but no luck. Dropped to -1.7 deg overnight.

This was taken when we crossed the 1000m mark.

Billy looking happy beside the mountain stream.

And yes it was cold.

Stopped in Cooma for a cuppa and for Billy to have a run.
Yes i like my coffee.

Bredbo Inn Hotel allows campers to set up behind the pub where i fixed the bracket for the EGR pipe (again). As always assisted by Bill.

We decided to go to Canberra for the day to visit the War Memorial. Bill wasn't too impressed by being left at the car for a couple of hours. We could here him howl as we left him.

Look at me.

After our visit to the Memorial, Sue needed some retail therapy and Bill and i walked around.

Back to the Bredbo for a late dinner and sleep. BUT first to fix the leaking water filter and pump.

Camp for tonight is in Scrubby Creek Forestry. Great spot the forestry down here should be thanked.
