So much has happened over the last four weeks where do i start.
Devils Marbles where interesting.

We started the Gibb River Road to find it hadn't been graded for a good while. Stopped for two nights at Pentecost River for well deserved rest.
Many more corrugations on and we camped at Gibb River just north of the Drysdale turnoff where Nev and Robyn traveled to Mitchell Falls. Billy was the camp mascot for a few days and anyone who was in the water was his best friend.
One of us - not saying who - left a Zooper Dooper wrapper on the rear bumper and to my surprise it is still there.
Heartbreak for Nev and Rob with the mighty 200 having major electrical failure and needed towing to Kununurra. We left them by the river for the tow and headed off to Broome.
Now just to keep things interesting the aircon pipe on the 100 failed as it rubbed through o the bullbar mounts. So now we are the 2 x 80 rule. 2 windows down and 80 kph. It was very hot so we decided to sweat it out but camp and leave earlier tomorrow to complete the Gibb.
We had one more night on the Gibb at Bells Creek Swim Hole but i wouldn't let Bill in as saw a freshy when i put the hose in for water.
Bill never went to the river, must have known we saw danger and he just stayed put.
Broome was interesting, we stayed at the PCYC overflow park as all the caravan parks where full for school holidays. Removed the bull bar from the car and off to Toyota for the spare part. 2-3 days ex Perth sir and that will be $145. Not bad i thought. Part arrived Wednesday and the aircon guy came in the afternoon to finish the job.
Also in Broome was the 'Staircase to the moon' a natural (and over rated) event when the moon rises over the flats and the reflections look like a staircase.
Where to now asks my beautiful Susan, - dunno lets try Barn Hill station. May be not a good choice as the place was full, and i mean full. They put us right to the end and no view of the ocean. Temperature was high 30's so we waited til late afternoon for our beach walk. Oh and i forgot Billy our wonderful boy hurt himself jumping up and out of the car and needed some anti inflammatory to reduce the swelling and pain in his front leg.
So i'm sorry its been a bit short but will do better next month.
By for now.
Russell and Sue.
